ibcontrols was founded by James Evers in 1999. After spending many years in the controls system industry, from sales engineer to general manager, Jim realized that meaningful customer service was missing from the actual mission of large global controls companies. ibcontrols was founded on the principles of providing Intelligent Building solutions based on our customer's specific and unique needs. While customer service is always implied, it is not always truly enforced by big global controls companies. ibcontrols is committed to learning and understanding our customers' unique needs and then engineering and providing customized solutions that result in more productive work environments and substantial savings.

The company is headquartered in Windham, Maine and has a branch office in Concord, New Hampshire. We serve Maine, New Hampshire & Vermont.
